Hello George Marsh,

Yes they make bottom freezer, French door, and ice and water in the door. You are not going to find one for $400.oo though. Whirlpool no longer makes then for Kenmore, they are now made by LG.

Guido, I've never been a fan of bottom freezers. When people ask for advice on buying things, we tell them I've had a good side by side whirlpool for 25 years, which I have, but that is old out dated advice. I remember when whirlpool pulled out of Indiana and moved off shore I think. I was a fan of whirlpool, liked working on them too. Liked GE's and Fridg, but who know where they are made today? Seems like everything is made where the labor is cheaper. The way we have a tax and spend society, I'm afraid more companies won't move out of the US and we will ask WHY?

IMHO, the only good advice about any produce is the advice that is only a few years old. That advice will be what not to buy. I know for sure what washing machine I won't buy in the future. It's the one I bought a year ago.

I can remember when some brands meant quality, now they are not so good, black and decker for one. George
