The weather finaly cleared up and I got a chance to try that new to me welder I posted about last week.I don't recall who said I would probably never want to use the lincoln tombstone again after using the DC welder I think he was right I love it. After a bit of experementing with heat and and polarity rod type and size I got it dialed in.I want to thank those that mentioned rod types and polarity along with some internet info all went well. I cut out the old trailer tongue and welded in a new 3"x 3" thick wall sq. tube It came out great, cutting out the old one took the longest used both a sawzall and a cutoff wheel and a lot of sweat.Now to paint.
