Compressor oil

I have an old (40 yrs?)air compressor with a 1/2 hp electric motor that runs a belt to the actual compressor. In the manual it states to use only 20W oil in the compressor. I can"t find any. I can find 10W, 30W and 40W,but no 20W.
What would you recommend I use?
If I mixed 1/2 of qt 10W and 1/2 qt of 30W would that equal 20W?
Thanks in advance.

Naaaa. I would tell you to use 30wt non detergent. That 20wt is for cold weather starts. If you only run your compressor in warm weather then don't worry. If your pump has used standard oil all of it's life NEVER change over to synthetic. You could blow all of the oil seals. Have fun Jeffcat.

I also have a 2HP air compressor that takes 20W non -det. oil. Valvoline makes 20W and you can get it through NAPA.

I've always been told never to mix two different viscosity oils together. I believe I would keep searching for the 20 weight. Here is one place, https://www.mystiklubes.com/do/product/663101002. If that isn't an option I would use 30 weight non-detergent.

I have a Quincey compressor with full pressure
lubrication, it even has an oil pressure gauge.
I"ve used Mobil 1 for 30 years, with no problems.
at 30 below zero, in an unheated garage, the gauge
shows full oil pressure in about 3 seconds,(before
the compressor even gets up to full speed)
