Ammo avialability is getting better here in VA. I got some 22LRs at the hardware store 2 weeks ago, and they had more when I was in there this weekend.

Gander Mountain seemed to have most everything except 22LR Friday.

I think the shortage may be ending.

The shelves in 3 local Wal-marts have been naked for months. Ammo comes in on a truck overnight and at 7:00 AM they are standing in line to buy it. It never makes it to the shelf. No one around here can find a box of 22 LR.

Our local Walmart has been a pretty good place to get ammo lately. About a week ago I picked up a couple boxes of 9mm for a neighbor. They also had 380, 40s&W, and 44mag. The last time I was in Cabelas (Omaha) they had about any hunting ammo you would want. Local sporting goods store had 9mm and 45acp.

I agree, lots of guns in the case and no ammo, about like having a bunch of tractors and no fuel.
