compression tester

What brand/model of compression tester for gas engines would you recommend? I have looked at Milton, Lisle, Actron, and Mityvac. I am not a professional mechanic, but do not want a "disposable" one. I do not care analog or digital, as long as it is accurate. Thanks to all. Mike

One that uses screw in adapters and Quick disconnect extension hoses to attach the tester to the spark plug hole. Beyond that its pretty much whatever your pocket book can stand.

I like my Snap On compression tester with different extension hoses for different engines, works good as you can connect the gauge after you're done screwing the hose in. I also have a Snap On cylinder leak detector which I find to be much more useful than a comp tester.

I have, I think the mityvac 05530 kit. I used it regularly in my work and it has done well, 100% pleased.
