Bought another one today. Around here, they are known as Avery jacks, tractor jacks, or threshing machine jacks.
Green, with a high and low lifting arm, plus a lifting pad on top. Spring loaded pawl with leaf spring, shaped like a hammer on a revolver. I have seen and own the other older variants, with curved cast iron handles, but the one I got today has a removable tube handle.
Only mark on it is A-3, and is like new. Can anyone tell me who made these?
