Help identify a pressure washer

I picked this up the other day and it had been sitting for a while. I hooked it up today and it runs good but it has no pressure. I know the seller very well and he told me it worked fine a few months ago and I have no reason to doubt what he told me. Does anybody have an idea of what kind of pressure washer this is? Thanks for all your help.

It looks like a Northstar from Northern Tool. Honda engine with
the Italian Annovi Reverberi pump.

I fixed a Toro for a friend. It has the POS Annovi Reverberi pump. His quit because he apparently left it sitting without moving water for too long. Some of the plastic valves were melted. So after I got it back together and tested, when he tried it it worked a little then quit. I found that the inner part to the unloader valve was stuck on corrosion in its bore. I got it cleaned up and working but altogether it was a lot of time. The one you have there probably has a part hung up on corrosion. Those pumps are rated for fifty hours.

Think Greg has it about right. I have one very similar. Forgot the name of the manufacturer, on the handle. Will check in the morning. Bought mine from Sam"s club, maybe 10 years ago. Been run and run hard for a number of years. Honda engine is no quitter - starts on first few pulls, runs like a champ. Pump, I believe is getting a little tired, but I"ve driven it hard for many hours, and it has a right to be tired. Probably ought to be looking for a new one. (pump that is.)

I have a JD, after running Hot Water through it for awhile the pump quit. I ordered a CAT pump from Northern tool and put it on the motor. It works great even with Hot Water from my hot water heater. If the motor is good you might want to toss the pump and get a CAT. Paul

Hello Jason S,

I am not Familiar with that model. If the unit has been sitting as you stated , chances are the pressure regulator/ unloader valve is the culprit.
Take it apart and you will find either a rusted plunger or bad O-rings.

Guido.

Looked tonite - mine is "EX-CELL" brand, whatever or whomever that is... Carrage (what I can see) is not the same, but powerplant/pump is definitely the same.

Its a comet pump I had 1 like it worked just fine
and good Till 1 day it just quit pumping it broke
the rods when the unloader stoped working.
