Weedeater. A fuel line broke off from the tank to the primer bulb. I have one line from the filter to the bulb and one from the bulb to the carb still connected. This third line that broke don't seem to connect to anything in the tank. Reckon it could just be a vent for the primer bulb? I will replace it like it was but just didn't see the purpose except a vent. Am I close or missing something? Thanks, Tommy

They usually don't connect to anything. It is the return line for fuel back to the tank when you are using the primer bulb. Make sure you get the right size fuel line or it won't seal the hole good. I usually cut the line at an angle and then spray it with silicone or Liquid Wrench. Use a needle nose pliers and it will slide right in. Put it in a good inch or so.
