I've got the same Makita and would back up what fixerupper says.
I know Makita has since come out with a 12" version - but haven't tried it out myself.
But going on how good a saw the 10" is - I wouldn't hesitate to go out and buy a 12" one.
Holds its accuracy - good fence system - very little blade deflection - lots of capacity - good ergonomics - even the stock blade is good enough to factor it into the price when comparison shopping (not a throwaway as it is in some others).
For all I know, there may be a better saw out there, but I'm comfortable saying that you'd have no reason to ever regret buying this one.
