schumacher battery charger

I have a SSC-1500A /ship'n shore battery charger I can't find a schematic
I have 120 volts going in but no output. I took it apart but visible fuse. They cost around $45 and have a 5 year warranty. But it was made in 2006 hate to throw away. But if I can't get parts I won't buy another.

Is that one of the small hand carry ones or the bigger roll around ones??? If it is the bigger one check the diodes you stand a good chance they are bad. BTDT

It is a small hand held charger. I have been looking and i think somebody wrote that there is a fuse inside the rectifier.

You can call them and their customer service will call you back, they have web site too. For me it was cheaper to buy another than pay for parts.

didn't you learn the price of 2 diodes is about equal to the price of a new charger?

On the small one yes but on the big ones no. The big ones run around $150 so to buy 2 diodes at say $40 or so you do come out ahead
