cub cadet walk behind mowers?

I am thinking about buying a walk-behind mower.

Cub Cadet sells them. Hustler mowers too?
Are the cub cadet walk behind mowers a decent product. I just dont know how good or bad the cub is when comparing longevity, durability, maintenance. What about Hustler walkbehind mowers?

Does anyone have a good answer for either of these mowers.

I have to mow 1/2 acre plus the leaves in the fall.
 
I take it you have a Toro?
How much money did it cost you?

How big of a Toro do you have?

Bought a Cub Cadet walk behind 2 years ago. The Kohler engine was the big selling point for me. We've had ZERO problems with it.
 
I bought one six years ago, has Honda engine. Did break end off self propelled cable last year and that is only problem. Does a good job mowing and mulching. Only thing I thought was kind of weird, no drain plug for engine oil. Have to tip it over to drain.

Yes, I know they are made by MTD. Knew that BEFORE I bought it, but it seems to be of better quality than the standard, run of the mill MTD. Plus, it was the only one available locally that DID NOT have a Briggs and Stratton. The Cub Cadet is used only for trimming. My REAL mower is a Farmall H with a 6 foot Woods belly mower, and the few places where it won't fit are mowed with an ancient Snapper rear engine rider.
