Lincoln Shield-Arc Junior SA150 Welder

Good Afternoon,

My name is Richard Lines, I'm based in Scotland and own an 80" wheelbase 1950 Land-Rover Mobile Welder (fully functional) which was one of 112 vehicles fitted with a Lincoln Shield-Arc Junior SA150 welder at the Lincoln factory in the UK and then sold through the normal Land-Rover dealerships with 2/3rd's being sold oversea's. The generator was driven by a three groove pulley off the back of the gearbox and mounted between and slightly back from the two front seat.

I also own a prototype 86" wheelbase LHD Land-Rover which was also fitted out as a Mobile Welder.

As you can imagine spares are simply not available in the UK and I imagine don't grow on trees in the US either.

I'm looking for a Lincoln Engine Idler bellow unit as detailed in Lincoln publication IM-117-B which I believe was fitted to every engine driven SA150/ 200 welder.

I would be very grateful to hear from anybody who can help me trace one of these things.

Regards

Richard

Pretty hard to find but maybe??? you could hook up an electronic idler like is available aftermarket for 1960's SA200's?

More interesting though is your machines, can you please post some pictures? Some of us are fascinated by stuff like this. Puddles might want to add one to his collection. LoL
