Hello
I had posted awhile back about this winco generator. Today I had some time, took some doing, but I got it going. Some sheet metal and air cleaner assembly will be next.It starts pretty quick(ROPE ONLY) The battery is bad. To my surprise no smoke. I plugged in the light to see if it was working,it didn't even tickel the rpm's. Looks like it will survive.

Hello stick welding,
Your sparking personality is shining through!
Just kidding, but you are right, and the flash light would be easy to carry. HA! HA!

Hello Sean Feeney,
I was just looking at the lot.
One is 50 amp 240V and one next to it looks like a plug for RV 120v 50 Amp?
There is some twist locks on the bottom as well.
I have no way to test them, other then measure voltage. I will have to test the 240V with a load. Maybe I will plug in my welder and try it out.

If you go around the net you will find the Wincos are VERY expensive. The price is due to the quality. As far as I know they are all USA built with US parts. VERY tough machines. Good buy!! jeffcat

Hello jeffcat,
That was a free one. After a good look, and all it was wrong, the guy said keep it!
I know him through Scouts, and He wanted to give it to me to start with. Anyhow, it needs a battery now, the started solenoid cleaned up good. It still needs the air cleaner top and a couple breather hoses. The wheels were a mess also. I may buy a set if all comes together. It starts and runs good now. Its a winter project I guess.
