Anybody using IE 10 yet?

Hi Guys, Is anyone using Internet Exploder 10 as their main browser yet? Responsible comments? I'm still using IE 8 which is slower than mud on a cold day. More and more I'm using Google Chrome, but I like some of the features of IE too.
Thanks!

It was a windows update for me yesterday, on my windows 7 computer, and I do not notice much difference over IE 9. IE 10, does have a spell checker in it though.

No IE10 use yet, just "upgraded" old XP system that I really like from IE7 to IE8 (youtube requirement). Seems a lot slower. Didn't like Chrome! (Old dog, new tricks syndrome). Thinking about getting off the software treadmill, chucking Microsmash entirely and going to Apple.

smallercrawler, once you switch to Apple you will wonder why it took you so long. Short learning curve but a much easier and SAFER system

s. crum-sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread.
gary/MSD: thanks for reinforcing my conclusions! Have heard a lot of great things about Apple.

Yes, I have to agree about Apple computers. I put up with Internet Explorer for years and hated it. A friend told me to end my problems and go to an Apple computer. I did and has been trouble free for over 2 years now. IT IS GREAT!! I also use FireFox and it's great too. An Apple computer may be more expensive but in the long run it is cheaper. Try it and you'll love it.

For a computer non-savy person like me, how do I find out which one I have. This computer was new on 1/8/13 and has windows 7 but that's about all I know about it. I left clicked on IE and found out the technicalities about it but not the version. There's IE and then IE 64 bit. What's that? Jim

I've been running it several month's since it was still in beta. It works fine. I use Chrome once in a while but prefer IE 10. Speed is about the same for me.

Usually "speed" issues are due to slow connection (DSL, dial up, cable modem, satellite, etc), or just an old pc in need of attention, not the browser itself.......spyware, malware, viruses, I have seen slow browser complaints due to all the above. Often just a software reload (I format and totally reload every couple years at least) will cure the issues. Problems I ran into using "those other browsers" are that I always run into something that will not load or work right. I work in IT in a large corporation (close to 10,000 clients total worldwide), and only support IE as a browser. Back when I used to do some web programming I only tested IE browsers - and I suspect I am not alone. I have also seen many issues with java plugin, and reload of java sometimes fixes (and a lot of web sites rely on java). Not too hard to stay away from Microsoft at home, but tough to avoid in the business world due to compatibily issues. I have found it is tough to stay ahead in a Microsoft world, but even tougher to fight to stay away from it.

Under "HELP" on the menu bar click on "About Internet Explorer". If your menu bar isn't showing right click on an empty space on the top right and check it to make it show. IE 9 & 10 only work with Win 7 & Win 8.
