I have a model 98, in working condition, and a
manual. The manual has 102 pages. there is NO
wireing diagram, or service instructions.
the first 26 pages is how to hook it up to test
various things, car coils, magneto coils, armaturs
condensers, distributors. The next 76 pages are specifications for virtually any brand of auto
coil, magneto coil, small engine and outboard ciol, and condensers.
It runs off a 7-1/2 volt battery, no longer
available, but the people I bought it from, said
a six volt would work, but a lantern battery
wouldn"t last long.
I use a 6 volt sealed lead-acid rechargeable cell
#82-4740, from MCM Electronics, a reputable
electronic supply house. They will take credit
cards and sell to anyone. Web site is:
I have a copier/scanner/printer but the scanner
part doesnt work...anyway, I wouldn"t know how
to get it into e-mail and am too old to learn.
If there is any interest, I could take it to a
printing place,(Insty Prints,Office Depot)and have
them print off a few copies. I could "Estimate"
it would cost about $10 for printing, postage,
big envelope. My e-mail at Y/T is open, or go to
firstname.lastname@example.org by march 10th
