|Glenn F. said: (quoted from post at 02:58:18 02/16/13) Who makes a decent parts washer suitable for a home shop? I figure 20 gallon would be a good size. I plan on mineral spirits or kerosine for solvent.|
The best are Safety Kleen,,, Are advertize you are looking for one on Craigslist... I have been using a SK unit for 33 years on a daily basic and never had ONE issue with it... http://s-kstore.com/index.php/sink-parts-washer-model-30.html?SID=3580e1493e41397f646a598429956508
I use the type that sets on a drum.
Used ones go for 1 to $200 I use the 30 gal model they also have a 20 gal...
They are EZ to service (as were the HF junk is a PITA to service),,, the Big'n is worth the extra money it will be the last one you will ever by...
Edit one last time,,, I fill the drum up with water are use coolant to about 3 to 4" to the bottom of the pump then add 10 gal of varlsol... This post was edited by Hobo,NC at 19:34:39 02/15/13 3 times.
