Very area specific question and highly dependant on the model. If you looked at say diesel 1 tons, the Ford 6.0 fiasco has driven down Ford 250/350 resale values quite badly but boosted the old 7.3L trucks values. |

As well as the Dodge Cummins values. Duramax not as much, as they have injector issues. |

| The Duramax injector issues were ONLY the first few years built. LLY engine if I remember right 200?-2005.5. The 2006 has the LBZ engine. No injector issues like the older diesels. I'd take a VW Bug over a Ford any day. 6.0 diesel's weren't even good enough for scrap iron. Those have injector issues big time. I'll stay with my Cummins. I don't have to remove the CAB to change injectors. :)- |
