I have seen pictures of these and now I need one. A therometer that once it reaches its maximum temperature either the lowest or the highest it leaves somekind of a identifing mark. Example lets say it goes down to 22, but it warms up in the night and is now 29. I need to be able in this case know tht it got down to 22. Anybody know where to find one? Thanks in advance. J.

We've got a couple of these. They came from WalMart, and cost around $10. They have a min/max memory, but I think you have to reset them to make them start over. Not real sure, because we don't really use that feature much.

There's lots of wireless digital thermometers that will do this. We've got one in the bedroom that projects the temp on the ceiling, and it has an alarm that will go off at a preset temp. Again - never used that feature, so don't know much about that option.

Depending on where you live, watch what you buy, many of them do not go down very cold. Must not get very cold in china! My wife ordered one from Amazon that goes down to -40F, that's good enough for MN most of the time! It's a La Crosse Technology Thermometer.
