I just picked up this unit i"m looking to find specs on the pump setup (CFM rating and rpm)and a recommendation for a gas motor size to run it. The unit is on its original tray as far as i can tell, on the tray it has Model: R Serial: 3264
On the pump itself has Serial: 4611 pump as 3 spoke 9" pulley (OD) with an attached after cooler i"m guessing Thoughts? Thanks Joe |

| Here is a few pictures i took,

Can i reuse the head gasket without issue? (if it comes apart ok) as i will have to pull the head to check the bore/stroke to figure that out.
It has a 1725RPM 1/4hp (5.0A) motor(2" pulley) but it stalls out at about 50 PSI. Thanks Joe

| If you know the first stage displacement in cubic inches, divide by 10 and it will give you the electric motor horsepower required to run it. A good safe margin is to double that for a gas engine. FYI, the model of the pump is the first two digits of the pump serial number, therefore, according to that, you have a model 46 pump, which I have never heard of. I do know that thee was a Model 45 pump, and you can check another YTMag post for some info that I have mostly forgotten over the years! |
