Excuse the ignorance, but York engine? Is that of the hit-miss variety or something else?
George I bow to your expertise and skill! Growing up we had an older fellow (older than me at least) that was a master machinist for Peerless Saw in Columbus, OH (they are still around, now located in Groveport, OH). He could weld or fix about anything, he got all our odd ball problems we couldn't deal with. Not many of these guys around any more, for sure. |

| W_B , York engine , made in york ,pa . Whether it is a hit and miss or a throttle governed ,I don't know as I have not seen the whole engine yet. From what I have learned they were made from the 190's to the mid teens . I will get some more photos up as I get them, I do have a picture of the sleeve that we are going to install. I do have one of the sleeve that we took out. george |
