Stove top fan

I asked Santa for one of these, the heat of the stove generates enough current to power a small fan, about 100 cfm. Starts running when the stove top reaches about 150F and the hotter it gets the faster it goes!

The unit generates DC via the Seebeck effect (solid state thermoelectric generator). The electricity then powers the fan motor.

I've got one atop my wood stove - it works great!
 
again.. like i said. in my first post.. it's based on a thermocouple.. :) number don't matter.. I was asking what technology it was based on....
 
Russ may I ask where you got yours. I have asked stores around here and they don't handle them or can't order them. I could go Ebay but you don't know what your going to get and have found a lot of stuff over priced.
