Hobart Fabricator

That ought to be just fine for what most people will use a welder for. I've got an older Hobart I bought for a song and I have done alot of both light and heavy fabrication projects with it over the past 8 or so years since I bought it with absolutely no problems out of it. The only thing I will suggest is to either make sure you have consumables, and a spare liner for it on hand, just in case, if it's got the standard Hobart gun with it. I really didn't have any problems with finding the contact tips for mine, but another nozzle was near impossible to find, and when the liner started causing problems in the middle of a big job I couldn't find anyone with a replacement in stock. I got lucky and had a complete Tweco gun on hand so I just replaced the whole thing with it since Tweco stuff is about as common and easy to find as it gets. Good luck with it and enjoy.

Should be a very good machine if everything works properly. Hobart used to have some of the best machines on the market.
