Like others have said, China is a huge market that, from what I've read, really wants American cars. If we design them here, build them there (for them), and the profit comes back here, I suppose that's OK.
What about Honda, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, and Nissan? They are all Asian manufacturers with plants in the U.S. I think of it the same way as that.
To be clear: Expanding production = good. Moving production = bad.
To keep this tractor related, Kubota produces tractors in the U.S., and I own a John Deere made in India. Go figure.
