I bought an electric fuel pump for a lawnmower. It worked about an hour and quit. I am selling it on ebay, however I don't think anyone will want it. Below is link to the listing so you can read it and decide if you want one like it from that seller.

hat?!!!!!!!! Youm think there are 2 suckers in the world?

Why don"t you just take the thing back to where you got it? Only way they are going to stop building this crap is for us to return it.

Pardon my ignorance, but what difference does it make if it's on a lawn mower or some other application?

any one else notice what retailer of automotive equipment was advertising on the the same ebay page , one of the largest retailers of china manufactured equipment in the US! "making it affordable for everyone to have a auto lift at home for oil changes on there american UAW built truck"

Have you checked your voltage coming to to the pump checked for a blown fuse. What kind of mower are you using it on.

All depends on voltage and fuel pressure output. On most small engines. Anything over 4 PSI will open the needle valve and cause flooding.

Yes I checked all that before saying pump was bad. I bought another pump and it works good---so far. It is on a Kohler M20 on a snapper zero turn.

Do not tie pump wiring into ignition coil. If ign ition has a ballast resistor in use, pump will be starving for current. Also probably not work at all or correctly. How do I know. Experience long time ago with Renault Dauphine car. Found out after rebuilding motor. This faulty hook up was the only problem. Never made that mistake again after 1966. Dave
