Skybow 09-17-2012 16:11:11 67.55.159.80 Report to Moderator	Everything was fine till a day ago. Can't get online. If I put in the static IP address that I was given by my ISP things are fine. My computer will not automatically obtain an IP address or the DNS address. It's funny, I can't get on this site or Ebay or any other but I can get on and use Pokerstars normally. I have used trend micro to search for any viruss and it shows none. I have AVG free running and updated. I restored the computer to 5 days ago and still nothing. Do I have a hardware issue. Make sure that "Automatically Detect Settings" is checked and Use Proxy Server is not checked. You should also try running Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons) by going to "All Programs", "Accessories", "System Tools". Also if you have a lot of Tool Bars (Google, Bing,Yahoo,Ask etc.) installed it can cause problems. [Reply]  [No Email]

(DSL? 3G? Cable modem? Fiber optic? Dialup?) You say your ISP gave you a static IP, but you expect to get a dynamic IP? Is your computer connected direct to the outside, or do you have a router? My guess is there's a problem with your ISP's DHCP and DNS servers. Give your ISP a call. [Reply]  [No Email]
