 Hello,
More times the not, the flint on the torch igniter seamed always done!
Here is what i made for lighting the O/A torch.
Old barbeque starter.......... It works for me.

| Anything but a BIC lighter. They blow up sometimes. With very devastating results. Dave

| A single cylinder magneto/spark plug with a hand wheel to spin it works really good.

| I shop I know has a set up like that. I was given a "Lightning Bug" striker that's like a hand powered dynamo. You squeeze the handle and it has a spark. If you hold your finger real close you get a shock.

| We use a fireplace/bbq lighter for our propane stove. Even out of fuel, the spark is enough to get it started. Stove's igniter just not dependable.

By the way that was at least 20 years ago that
I made the thing.
It seamed that I was the only one in the shop that new how to change the flint on the torch lighter! This was my solution, I kept it in my tool box, where i just found it.
