Value depends if its direct electric start or pony start---do pony and main engine run, turn over or froze--wear on tracks, rollers ,idlers and sprockets. Main clutch and steering clutch conditions--condition of hydraulics if you are not familiar with these items perhaps and experienced Cat mechanic should examine it for you--usually you can"t go too wrong for scrap value   [Reply]  [No Email]

If the motor and pony motor are sound. Then there are a lot of other things that cold be screwed up if it has been settin gthat long. Find an old dozer man and take him with you to look at it.
