It is the first rainfall here since the 0.4" we got on June 11. We were getting kinda parched. . . |

| Got .08 this afternoon while I watched a good inch or more go six miles west of me. It's the same area that got a good inch a week and a half ago. A sixty acre field I rent two miles west of where I live must have had a good 1/2" or more the way it looked right after the rain. Right where I live we are needing a good rain real soon or we will lose more yield in the corn. Jim |

| 20 miles south of me they had about 2 inches of rain over 2 days. While I stood & watered the garden last night it sprinkled a couple of hours, & was still a dry powder when it stopped. Had about 1 inch of rain since mid May with little more than a few sprinkles since June 1st. Pretty depressing! Its rained a lot in places around, IN; but it just keeps going everywhere but this particular area. |

| Here at the Lake of the Ozarks we got just a tad under an inch last night so if you add that to what we got in the last 48 or so hours we might have gotten an inch which we needed badly and could use a few more nights say 5 plus that we would get an inch a night then maybe in Aug. or Sept we could do more hay. Right now it is down right not safe to do much in the fields as dry as it is. Been a number of fires here caused by a rock getting hit and sparking and that in turn starts a fire |
