| 40ft leads will run around $350.00. That is not a bad price for the hours. The diesels are a lot heaver than gas, just plan for the extra weight. The price between Blue and Red paint is the same, just make sure you get the welder you need(want is not bad either). |

| I'm in Canada and a new Lincoln Ranger 305G is $4200 and it's a lot more welder than Bobcat 225. A Miller Trailblazer 302 is $4400 and comparable to the Lincoln but a lot more Lincoln's are sold. A new Bobcat 250 is about the same price as the one you're looking at. Diesel drives are almost twice the cost of gas drive in the smaller machines. Starting in 2013, diesel welders over 25 H.P. will have price increases up to 50% because of the tougher emission standards. Unless you're going to use it lots and lots and lots, I'd get a new gas engine machine with a 3 year warranty. I've read of some complaints with the higher speed diesels. |
