Canox Welders?

I found a Canox wirefeed welder through Kijiji. The seller says it is a Firefly but there is no other model with it but he says it's 110V. I have read elsewhere that they are made by Miller. Anyone know of Canox welders, there is not a lot of info online which leads me to believe they are no longer made. He wants $200 for it.

I think I"d put that money toward a Miller to be safe . You are going by theories or word of mouth as to that machine but who will service it or be able to help you when troubles arise ? Go name brand . HTH ! God bless

That was kind of what I was leaning towards and thought I'd ask here. I thought maybe someone had some experience or knew more about it.
I'd hate to let a good one go.

Mig welders have a lot of parts that can fail.Miller does not make Canox.Miller and Hobart are owned by Illinois Tool Works.

Post a link to the ad. Here"s a post started by me asking about them. I think we came to the conclusion that Canox is Canadian Oxygen and their welders were made by Miller and identical to them other than the paint colour.
