Needle Scalers

Do some needle scaler attachments fit onto existing air chisels? I was looking online at some and it looks like some just screw on to air chisels where the spring would go. If so, would that be a good (effective, still a useable tool?) way to go to save a little money? I already have a chisel.

Yup--got one from Harbor Freight that did that. Works like a charm. Screws on and is held with 3 (IIRC) Allen screws.

My cheap one from Northern Tool came with a Needle Scaler and chisl.

Had one but found it difficult to use at weird angles in hard to reach spots. Got an inline instead and liked it better. Watch those things, they really stress your elbows!
