Just read apply iodine to nuts or bolts, wait a few minutes, then apply more if necessary. Wait 15 minutes before loosening.

Never tried have you??

Could it be the burning that get the nut off??

I've heard of Wintergreen oil, but never of using iodine. Does it work, and where would you find something like that in a store? I've never seen it.

We used to get wintergreen oil in either a drug store or a mom-and-pop hardware. Used a drop or two to a gallon of paint to keep the bugs off while it dried.
