Know this isn't tools or tractors, but know they are lots of guys here who hopefully can help. I have a 2005 Grand Caravan, 3.3 engine, 72,000. It has a Denso 421000-0025 Alternator. Is this the 136 amp or the 160 amp? The tag on the Alt. doesn't say. The other numbers on the tag are 04868, 430AE, and 46588. I need to replace and parts store has 160 amp in stock but not 136 amp. Can 160 amp be used in place of the 136 if this is a 136 amp? Any help would be appreciated.

this is your lucky day you have the 160 amp alt.Having said that I have never had to change one.We take our starter/alt to be repaired, do not use rebuilt anymore. david

I have found with Dodge if it will mix or match Look at the pulley and if it has the same number of grooves for the belt. Did a K car and a van that way. Match em up in the junk yard.
