Novo Upright/Vertical engine info?

I have a Novo upright/vertical engine and I'm looking for more information about it.

It appears to be a 2HP model o25, 625, or 825. (the builder's plate is a bit worn there)

I haven't seen any similar images online so I don't even know if it's complete.

If it looks familiar to anybody I'd appreciate knowing more about what I have, and possibly some tips to make it run again.

All I know currently is that the crankshaft still turns.

Thanks.

I have a novo 4 hp. Your fuel tank is in the base. You can see the fuel pump plunger going into the tank. Pump the pump manually by hand and see if it will pump fuel to
the carb. There is a return line from the carb back to the tank to take care of excessive fuel. Yours has a Wico EK mag. That mag is special to the Novo engine. I would
like to have a small Novo like that. It takes a lot of ump to crank my 4 horse. Don’t know if you know it or not but when you get ready to start the engine take your finger
and push the intake valve open just a bit. When you get the flywheel rolling release the valve. You have to be using a hand crank to do this. Good luck with your find.
PS look on eBay for a manual.

Make sure that you clean the crankshaft and the hole in the hand crank then lube it well, before you try to start it. If not it could grab the crank then fling it at you.
