This cart was made by the "Electric Wheel Company". They made carts for various companies. Most common for this cart was Hercules / Economy. The wheels were narrower on the Associated (Waterloo Iowa Company) used carts. Very nice carts and well built. Great size for a 3-5 hp engine. They were built in this style in two sizes. By what you mentioned for wheel sizes I would put this in the larger of the two. I need one that size for my 5hp Hercules. I have a smaller cart like that but a 5hp engine is just too big for it. Oh, and a little fyi on the front bolster set screw under the axle. The threads are 1/2-12 pitch. Quite common for that size in the early 1900's.
