Maytag 82 engine color

I am restoring a model 82 Maytag engine. I see pictures of them painted in Hunter green, but others a lighter green. The little paint remaining on mine seems to be the darker, but it is hard to tell. Any words of wisdom as to color choice?

Hunter green is right. Maytag green was always darker. I have a few originals that have dark green paint. The last upright engines through early 72 twins used the same dark green paint, but remember paint color back then was not black and white. Maytag probably used several paint suppliers through the years and the shade was a little different with each supplier.
