Fairbanks Eclipse Upright Pump Engine

I just purchased an Eclipse Upright at auction. It is an older restoration, and was told it does run, I have no instruction book, so can anyone tell me how to start this motor. It has the round gas tank with the carb and adjustment screw on top. The screw has marks and numbers on it. I need to know how far out to turn the adjustment screw. I have good spark to the plug. I appreciate any advise. Thanks

I will go check mine in a while and see what the adjustment on it is. Does yours have one or two flywheels? Mine is a 1912 with one flywheel.

Mine is set at 3/4 turn open.
I am sure each one is a little different. Would love to see a photo of yours from the flywheel side showing the wording cast into the hopper. That helps date them.
Here is an ad that I find very amazing on their economy.

Thanks. That is really nice. If I remember correctly, that is probably a 1911 or earlier. I will have to go back and look at my notes.

How long has this engine been sitting? You may need to take the tube out of the tank and clean the check ball in the bottom.

That is a very nice looking new toy. May I ask what something like that is worth? I know some stuff like that can be in the hundreds.
