I don't really want to get rid of any engines, but what are these things bringing? It's been a long
time since I was involved in all the shows. I know condition is everything. The engines outside are
rusted fast, 2 6HP and a 3HP. Any help would be great, thanks.

Since it has been a while since you have been involved in the engine hobby the first thing you need to know is that commonly available engine prices have fallen, in some cases dramatically. They simply are not worth what they were 10 years ago, or even 5 years ago. That being said it is very hard to give a relevant price based upon that scant information. An engine that is tight but otherwise in reasonable condition is worth a lot more than one that hasnt seen the inside of a shed since new and is a rust bucket. I can tell you that a person can purchase a nice 6HP M in running condition for around $1000 and a 3HP in same shape for $5-600. If either one is sitting on a factory skid then add a bit and if on factory skid and cart add $200. If your engines are complete in every way and not busted up you might get offered $1000 for all of them. If extremely weathered, busted up or missing parts then subtract from that. The older understrike ignitor engines will bring a bit more than a later spark plug type. Lastly your location has a bearing as does your ability to assist with loading, Not much help but as good as I can do.

I saw a rusted up and stuck one with the EK mag and belt pulley still on it bring $ 300 at an auction this week. Carb butterfly was locked up, no carb linkage. I wanted it for parts but not that bad. There was one on eBay last week rebuilt and running on a cart highest bid was $800 but it did not meet the reserve.
