IHC 3-5 LB Carburetor Float Needed

I am working on a 3-5 LB baler engine. It uses the gravity feed fuel system with a float bowl at the carburetor. The original float is missing. Has anyone found a suitable replacement?

A small fuel proof ping pong ball would be ideal!! heh heh

sounds as though someone has fabricated something, I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I have never seen an LA or LB series engine with a bowl type carb, they are just a simple mixer mounted to bottom of the head and has a dip tube going into the top of the fuel tank that draws fuel into the mixer on the intake stroke of the engine

I got it to work. I cut a float out of the foam material on a fuel gas from a chevy pickup. This really worked slick. engine runs smooth and easy to start now.

If you cleverly sealed the cut part, it should be good to go. If not, it will eventually soak up fuel and 'waterlog' and dissolve.
