Anyone know if the WW-61E PTO clutch assembly will work with a THD engine? It's made for the VE4, VF4, VH4 engines, but they may have the same 1 7/16" output shaft. I have a THD with a WW-77 gear reduction PTO clutch assembly, but need to run a faster RPM. Not sure about bolt pattern.
My VE4 engine is not cooperating. While attempting to bring it back to life, I have good spark, timing magneto per the book and carb. is rebuilt. Can't get enough compression to suck fuel into the cylinders. I added oil like the book says and there are times when it will puff smoke but never try to run. It's a hand crank and wearing me out. Probably ran last 20 years ago. That's why I was curious if the WW-61E will work with my THD which starts with one pull on the hand crank. Thanks.
