Got old LA and cylinder loos bad. Do these have a sleeve that I could replace. If so where can I get sleeve,piston, rings.

Not an expert, but I believe they are cast iron all the way - no sleeve. You could sleeve it if required-spendy, OR you may be able to find a larger bore piston assembly. Is the cyl. bore that bad ??

Remember these little engines don't turn real fast so you can get by with a little slack and a good set of rings.depends on what you are doing with the engine. Work or play.

how bad? I have had them that were pitted, honed it good, new rings, and ran fine.

They are a low compression engine, so a little pitting and scratches don't hurt.
