Javahar diesel standard engine help

Has anyone ever heard of one of these animals. I ran across one at a salvage yard. It is a single cylinder upright liquid cooled diesel engine. It is loose and complete. Anyone know anything or interested in saving it? It is located middle of Nebraska.

Apparently an India-made "Lister clone".

Look at expired ebay auction #380664780370 for a picture on a manual cover... interesting, that auction was from Nebraska, as well.

Wish I was closer, it could come and live with me!

That is it. Here is a picture. It is loose and appears to be probably in running condition. I do not know the value of this, but I hate to see it go to waste. If anyone wants to save it, send me an email.

CUTE little thing, appears to be a modern high-speed diesel, NOT a Lister clone.

Bob,

What would be considered high speed on one like this? Do you think it is from the 50's or newer?

I keep contemplating getting it, but don't know if I see a use for it. It just seems too nice to be wasting away.

The "Lister clones" typically operate about 650 RPM.s. The one you found MAY well be 1800 RPM or more (JUST guessing).
