Got this started today with some other stuff. Anyone know what it's for? D-R # 1108010 41 11. I think. Kinda leaning toward a Wisconsin 4 cly since it came from a Aimsh farm.

I'm not an expert, but it looks to me like the starter used on the stationary Detroit Diesels that the Amish use to run their air compressors.
 
I'd love to help. but that sucker looks like a gillion other starters I've seen. If it is a Delco-Remy, you should be able to track the serial #. HTH b
 
GOOGLE the Delco number in this format: "Delco 1108010".

Original "apps" include 1956 6 Volt IHC McCormick Deering Thresher models, 141 and 160.
