Small engine and generator

Has anyone ever seen one of these setups before. I think it is a Briggs engine but not sure about the generator.

The engine appears to be a Briggs model WMB, which would originally have been used on a washing machine. Google Briggs WMB for more info.

Found this one on U Tube. I am aware it is missing the flywheel cover. I have one for it. Looks like they were made for more than washing machines.

Nice !! When I had my farm in the 70's - no power. Borrowed a Army surplus generator that a pal had. Self starting if hooked to a battery and 0-25 volts regulated by throttle. I bought a huge Cat battery and found a sine wave inverter (to run the Thorens turntable and Bose amp and speakers (why 'rough it'?) Had a 12v B&W TV, 5 channels on rabbit ears. The unit still exists (had to return it when life changed--would have anyway--still pals, but he's got the big C). Ahhh, the memories !
