Whoever reads this is really gonna get a kick from "what happened next ". In situ (as per pics) After I let the unit sit for 1/2 hr. or so, I drained the water and rust out of the hopper. Refilled with a solution of vinegar and water, let sit for (dinner time) a bit and re-started. Not as easy as the first, Hmmmnnn? Finally got him going again, went to the non-flywheel side to adjust the carb screw AND a chunk of Aluminum soffit with a serious hole in, fell down beside me. WTFF !! Engine not running right, shut it down. Went to the flywheel side and discovered the cranking handle missing !!! It apparently came loose, flung itself through the soffit and at this point in time is missing !! At least I know how and when to have phun ! --gonna get the ladder out and report back. b
