Wisconsin VF4D -VE4 jugs fit

The side of my VF4D jug in my Bobcat rusted through. I have a VE4 on an old mixer. Will the jug from the VE4 fit the VF4D ? if the bore is smaller can it be bored out to the VF4D"s bore?

VE4D, Cylinder block Assy: #AA-85-S23
VF4D, Cylinder Block Assy: #AA-86A-S30
THESE PARTS ARE NOT INTERCHANGABLE BETWEEN MODELS
Per,(6 inch thick) master parts book.
Nor are pistons
But connecting rods, and crankshaft ARE the same,
so i'd presume the bore is different.
Pistons are available in .10/.20/.30 oversize
for both models.
Note: the "D" suffex in the moder number indicate
Stellite valves, and hardened valve seats.

But that is the block, right. But, Will VE4 jugs fit Wisconsin VF4D block-if I bore them ? There is amachine shop in town that can bore it if they"ll work. I don"t have the $ 3,000. to replace the engine and am not sure its worth the cost for the old Bobcat 600, when I probally can get a newer one for the same cost.

I tried to bore the 3 inch to 3 1/4 & the bolt hole for the valve cover showed up.
