hillbillybill 06-06-2012 21:39:37 208.73.196.88 Report to Moderator	Re: Fairbanks Morse 3 HP Model Z Ignition in reply to Arnold Layne, 05-31-2012 21:05:44   my answer on your magneto remove the covers from the magneto remove the wires from the bottom of the points do not change point setting use 6 or 12 volt coil negative wire goes to bottom of points where you removed the old wires take a condenser from 8n ford connecting condenser wire with negative coil wire at the points plus wire from coil goes to 6 or 12 volt battery ground wire from battery connected to the engine or magneto box i have 3 of them running like that hope this helps [Reply]  [No Email]
