I just obtained an LB engine. I want to rebuild/restore it. I have ordered the manual online. Will the manual have all the neccessary info I will need or is there another source of info to help with the rebuid and of course this site?

I've just done the same thing, however the PO rebuilt it(valves, rings, bearings). I have just got the 'missing bits' (handle spring, muffler, decals) from HitnMiss in OH. Google them. HTH
