11 hp champion from generator

i HAVE A 11 HP MOTOR FROM A CHAMPION GENERATOR. tHIS LOOKS LIKE A CHINESE HONDA COPY,IS IT? its low hour,is it worth adapting the crank to use it?

The crank has a taper machined on it and anything adapted is going to require either removing and machining the crankshaft taper to a straight albeit small shaft or machining what ever you attach to the shaft to a tapered inside bore.
Most machine work like that will cost probably $60+ per for several hours plus material and if you take the crankshaft out to turn the taper down to a straight shaft there will be several hours of yours or somebody else's time plus parts. In short it could be done but will be costly unless you have someone that will do it for free or a case or two of beer. Part the engine out and sell it on somewhere like Craig's List or E-bay.

Gene,I didn't need that info;I have a solution for that and use a lot of tapered shaft motors. my question was who the mfg was so i'd have a heads up when it needed help. Who made it and is it a honda knockoff.

there are a number of Chinese knock offs of Honda engine and the parts usually look the same but my experience has not been honored to deal with a Champion brand engine. For Generators I stick with Onans even with the big buck cost and with the engines I use Briggs, Tecumseh or Honda, don't use any of the Clones so I don't really know.
I am sorry you are offended by my information. I thought you were trying to justify the cost of using it.
