I am looking at a Briggs and Stratton WI motor my neighbor has for sale. It is a Pedal Start and is complete and runs, but smokes. Can you guys tell me a ballpark Value on the motor? I have no clue and my neighbor doesn't either. I think it was made in the 40's or 50's? I can't find a lot of info on the motor and value. Thanks |

| I have a B & S engine model WM. Then they came out with a model WMB, which was an improved version of the WM. Later they made the WI which was the industrial version of the WMB. My WM was made in 1937. It is 1/2 horse power and was made for the use on washing machines. I really don't like to give advise on prices for engines and only know what I would pay. I bought mine at a antique store now knowing if it would run or not for $60.00 in PA. Go to ASECC on the internet and you can find any info. and pictures of the engine. |
